Our trusty fleet is the teams pride and joy – comprising our impressive fleet of John Deere tractors, Kalmar and Boss forklifts, a Wise 10T sling hoist, a 20T ABI hydraulic trailer and hydraulic con-lift used to lift, safely manoeuvre and store a vast array of vessels. Like us, the plant works hard fulfilling operations day to day and is professionally maintained by our own engineers with additional external examinations ensuring your boat is in safest hands when with us.
Excitingly for 2022 we have two new additions to our existing fleet!!
Firstly, the con-lift hydraulic Drystack trailer has done the donkey work for years on our Drystack launch and recovery service, we felt it deserved a twin! So, the superb team at Dart Fabrication – just up the road from us – have designed and made us a second one to make up our lift fleet more robust for the busy summer season. When you support Blackness Marine, you are supporting our local marine economy too – we are advocates for shopping local wherever possible – even when it is for large lift plant!
We also purchased a 16T hoist which is being completely refurbished in house, it’s been a mammoth task this winter and she’s now fully resprayed. Being overhauled suitably for her life at Blackness, she will be lovingly reassembled and commissioned later this season for autumn haul out further increasing the diversity yachts we can accommodate this winter.
