BOATYARD & DRYSTACK OPERATIVE
Overview of the role. Successful applicants will be given a more detailed job description:
- Launch recovery of boats across the memberships offered
- Boat haulage, pressure washing and safe shoring up a variety of vessels
- Interaction with customers, always ensuring a welcoming & helpful atmosphere
- Boat towage collections and deliveries
- Delivering on requirements of all plant & pontoon maintenance schedules
- General grounds maintenance and site presentation

REQUIRED SKILLS
- Experience driving large plant 2 years
- Knowledge of boats and boat handling
- Practical skills – with the ability to develop these and learn new skills
- Able to work as part of a team & individually once trained
- A positive, enthusiastic approach to work with excellent customer service
- RYA Powerboat Level II preferred
- Able to swim 100m
Due to the nature of our business, weekend work is part of this role April – October, with time off in lieu during the week when weekends worked over the season on a rota basis across the team. Hours vary slightly seasonally and will be discussed further at interview. The role involves working outside in all weather conditions year-round.

Hours and pay
- 40 hours/wk
- Salary scale from £28,000 (dependant on experience)
