BOATYARD & DRYSTACK OPERATIVE
Overview of the role. Successful applicants will be given a more detailed job description:
1. Launching of boats on Drystack memberships
2. Boat haulage, pressure washing and blocking off
3. Interaction with customers ensuring a welcoming, helpful atmosphere
4. Boat towing, collections and deliveries
5. Assisting operation supervisor with plant and pontoon maintenance
6. General grounds maintenance and presentation
REQUIRED SKILLS
• Experience driving large plant
• Practical skills – with ability to learn new skills easily
• Able to work as part of a team & individually once trained
• Excellent customer service attitude
• Knowledge of boats
• A positive, enthusiastic approach to work to fit with our existing team
• RYA Powerboat Level II preferred
• Able to swim
Due to the nature of the business, weekend work is essential with time off in lieu during the week over the season. Hours vary seasonally and will be discussed further at interview. The role involves working outside in all weather conditions year-round.

Hours and pay
• 40 hours/wk (to include some weekend work March-October)
• Salary scale £24,960 – £31,200 (dependant on experience)
